Subject: [PLD-L] drug testing
Do you do drug testing system-wide?
All employees?
Just some branches?
Thanks for your help. Our system has some counties that do this, and some that don’t. We’re looking at the possibility of a system-wide policy, and wanted to see what others were doing.

Greetings:
I believe that some of you are checking out ‘playaways’ at your libraries. I have been told that they need batteries changed after every play. Those of you who have them, do you supply new batteries with each check-out or do your patrons provide their own batteries? Or do you sell batteries? Do you sell the head phones?
Thanks for your answers.
Gary
Directors:
As part of our continuing effort to facilitate communication and information sharing among us all, I am very happy to introduce the new “Directors’ Knowledge Base” (DKB). This is an enhanced blog that permits the posting of information to this closed list that might be of value to others, if not the entire group. The intent is to provide a single location for collecting and making available the wisdom of you all.
